We have a key role to fill, as we are now on the lookout to find the right candidate. The position is located in our studio in Gothenburg. It is important that you are able to commute to the office or that you can relocate here. We offer a flexible workplace and part-time remote work is up for discussion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the 3D team providing guidance, mentorship, and feedback to ensure high-quality output and professional growth.

• Collaborate with the Creative Director or Art Director and producers, project leads/managers to understand and implement the project's artistic vision.

• Oversee the creation and delivery of 3D content, including models, animations, and visual effects.

• Develop and enforce best practices and workflows for 3D production.

• Contribute to the recruitment, training, and development of 3D artists within the team. This includes giving feedback and plan for individual development and contribute to Eternal Onboarding activities.

• Maintain a hands-on approach by contributing to scene creation, modelling, texturing, rigging, and animation tasks as needed.

• Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in 3D design and animation.

• Coordinate with other departments to ensure alignment and integration of work processes.

• Manage timelines, deliverables, and resources effectively, ensuring projects are delivered on time.

• Facilitate communication and collaboration within the team and with external stakeholders.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Minimum of 4 years experience in 3D or animation, with a proven track record in a leadership role.

• Strong portfolio showcasing high-quality 3D art and an understanding of artistic fundamentals.

• Expertise in 3D software such as Cinema4D, Blender, Houdini or similar. Along with compositing tools such as After Effects, Photoshop, Resolve or similar.

• Knowledge of the entire 3D production pipeline, including modeling, texturing, rigging, animation, rendering, and Compositing.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Creative thinking with the ability to push boundaries and innovate.
